The most common issues when adding the payment details are:
- Incorrect beneficiary name: Beneficiary name doesn’t match the bank account.
- Incorrect account number or IBAN: Please make sure you are not missing any numbers.
- IBAN does not match the billing country: An IBAN is used in some countries to uniquely identify a customer’s bank account. The IBAN consists of an alphabetical country code, followed by two digits, and then up to thirty five characters for the bank account number. Your IBAN starts with the letters of the country. E.g. a bank account in France will have an IBAN that starts with the letters FR.
- Incorrect SWIFT code: SWIFT code, also known as Bank Identifier Code (BIC) is an 8-11 alphanumeric code used to identify banks and financial institutions globally. Most banks include their SWIFT code in customer account details and on their mobile apps, websites and statements.
