We compared the costs of coverage via RentalCover.com to the average cost of collision damage waivers (where they are sold separately) and super collision damage waivers (or equivalent excess waivers), including taxes and fees, for a one week domestic rental for drivers over age 25 with no discounts applied. Cost comparison is based on quotes provided by 3 suppliers for airport pickup and drop-off of a standard SUV in London, Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Tel Aviv, Dubai. For Sydney and Auckland we compared standard SUVs and 6 berth motorhomes under the same conditions. The average daily rate for SCDW coverage for the selected dates is $24 for standard SUVs and $36 for motorhomes.
