RentalCover Affiliate Program Brand Standard & Messaging Guidelines
Purpose
These guidelines tell affiliates (our “Partners” or “you”) how to talk about RentalCover (or “us”) so that messaging stays accurate, compliant, and consistent across markets.
What You Can Say
- Refer to RentalCover as a brand and describe it generally as a rental car insurance provider.
- Use approved brand name and logo assets only, with no alterations to color, proportions, or the wordmark.
- Share genuine experiences and honest opinions.
- Link only to your official RentalCover affiliate link or approved deep links.
- Transparently disclose that affiliate links are paid, which may create a conflict of interest to recommend RentalCover.
What You Cannot Say or Do
- Do not describe, quote, or summarize specific policy terms, coverage limits, exclusions, or pricing. Always direct users to the official site for policy details.
- Do not answer coverage questions or otherwise help customers to complete the purchase flow.
- Do not imply an endorsement or employment relationship beyond this affiliate relationship.
- Do not guarantee claim outcomes, approvals, or payouts.
- Do not recommend a specific policy or coverage option. Do not state that one policy is better than another.
- Do not use RentalCover’s name/logo in a way that suggests it is the affiliate’s own product.
- Do not make comparative claims against competitor’s products.
- Do not engage in spam or other prohibited marketing tactics.
- Do not discuss any performance or earnings claims about the affiliate program itself.
- Do not collect any information about potential customers to pass to RentalCover, including pre-filling customer details or collecting rental details.

Geographic Requirements
