RentalCover does not offer policies for all countries, but we can cover rental vehicles in over 100 countries.
For vehicles rented outside of the US, you can be protected in other countries you travel to if they are also covered under your rental agreement.
For vehicles rented in the US, you can be covered for travels to Canada. This excludes New York residents.
Insurance from RentalCover is 50% cheaper than equivalent cover from rental companies.โ It's also often more comprehensive, making it an easy choice for many customers.
The named driver and all additional drivers included on your rental agreement are covered by RentalCover. Your protection applies as long as the rental vehicle is driven by (or in the possession of) a licensed driver named on the rental agreement.
Your RentalCover policy is linked to your rental agreement. That means if you rent cars in multiple different countries on a single trip, you will need to purchase multiple RentalCover policies to be protected.
We support customers through our Help Centre. You can also contact us directly when you log into your account.
We offer cover for campervan and motorhome rentals in over 100 countries. You can cover these vehicles with our Zero Excess Rental Cover policy, with nothing for you to pay in the event of a claim. We do not offer cover for campervans and motorhomes in the US.
It depends on where you're travelling. Many countries require an IDP if your licence isn't in the local language. You can drive on your domestic licence in most EU/EEA countries, but destinations like Japan, Thailand and parts of South America typically require an IDP. Check the requirements for your destination before you travel.
