How to submit and track a Collision Damage claim (US renters)

If you are a US resident with our “Collision Damage Protection” plan, your claim will follow these steps:

  1. Start the process via our online claim form and then we will advise the next steps.

  2. Once you've submitted your claim to the insurance provider Crum & Forster, they will assess your claim. Please make sure to remove the dashes from your INS number when you fill in your details on the Crum & Forster claim form.

  3. You’ll be notified by email from Crum & Forster when your claim has been approved.

  4. Crum & Forster will post you a cheque for the refund amount in the name of the insured passenger.

Please note that claims normally take between 4-5 weeks to be assessed, though this may take longer if any documents are missing.

You can always track your claim via the claims portal, but please contact us if you have any issues with your Crum & Forster claim.
