What should I do if my RentalCover Protection is refused at the rental desk?

Follow the tips below if you encounter any problems regarding your protection at the rental desk.
 

If they refuse to rent you a vehicle.

If the rental company refuses to provide you with a rental vehicle because they say RentalCover Protection "is not recognized", you can either:

  • Try to rent with another company. If you purchased protection via one of our partners at the same time you made your car booking, you can cancel your car booking with them and your protection is still valid for use with another rental company. Please note if the partner cancels the booking and protection together, you will no longer have protection.

Be prepared.

If you have questions about the rental vehicle or need to change your rental booking, we recommend speaking to the rental company about anything relating to your vehicle. If you need to make changes or have a question about your booking, you can manage it via your booking agent.
