CDW/LDW waives damage costs with a high excess payable for damages (US$5,000.00 for cars to US$7,500.00 for motorhomes.) LDW is CDW + Theft Protection.- Excess payable for any damage is very high.
- CDW is included in your booking.
- Some types of damage are not covered by CDW, for instance some rental companies do not cover windscreens, cracks and chips, tyre punctures & replacements, and damages to headlights and underbody.
- CDW does not cover expensive accident-related fees such as administration, towing and loss of use fees.
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW)
Super Collision Damage Waiver reduces your remaining excess towards US$0.00.- Can be purchased for US$30.00 - US$45.00 per day.
- Price tiers usually mean that you pay even more to get US$0.00 excess.
Roadside Assistance Cover
Covers roadside costs such as towing, fuel and key lockout.- Can be purchased for US$10.00 - US$15.00 per day.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal Accident Insurance compensates you for personal injuries (including passengers).- Optional at the rental desk for US$10.00 - US$15.00.
- Available in travel insurance policies.
