Do I need to add extra drivers and countries to my cover?
The short answer is no. Your RentalCover Protection automatically extends to the named driver and all additional drivers listed on your rental agreement at no extra cost.
To ensure your coverage remains valid, please double-check that the primary driver’s name on your rental agreement exactly matches the name on your RentalCover Protection. You can update these details at any time, just sign in to your via RentalCover Account.
Driving in other countries
Planning a cross-border trip? You are generally covered for additional countries as long as you collected the vehicle from the original country of pick-up and you are following the permissions of your rental provider. You do not need to notify us of the specific countries you plan to visit.
Important Exceptions:

US Policies: If you purchased US SLI or CDW and collected your vehicle in the US, you are only permitted to drive within the US and Canada. (Note: Vehicles collected in New York are restricted to the US only).

Sanctioned Regions: Coverage is not provided for travel within countries or territories currently sanctioned by relevant regulators.
