How do I check if my device is eSIM compatible?
To check if your device is eSIM compatible, please follow these steps.
For iOS devices:
For iOS devices, youโll need to check if your device is carrier-locked and if you can add an eSIM to determine whether your device is eSIM compatible.
- Go to โSettingsโ and select โGeneralโ.
- Then, click โAboutโ and scroll down to where it says โService Provider Lockโ. If it says โNo SIM restrictionsโ, it means your device is not carrier-locked and you can add an eSIM.
- To check if you can add an eSIM, go to your โSettingsโ and select โMobileโ.
- If you can add an eSIM to your device, youโll see the โAdd eSIMโ option under โSIMsโ.
If your iOS device doesnโt have a carrier lock and has the โAdd eSIMโ option, your device is eSIM compatible.
For Android devices:
- For Samsung devices, go to โSettingsโ > โConnectionsโ > โSIM Card Manageโ. If you see the โAdd Mobile Planโ option, your device is eSIM compatible.
- For all other Android devices, dial and call *#06#. If you can view your EID number, your device is eSIM compatible.
