How do I check if my device is eSIM compatible?

To check if your device is eSIM compatible, please follow these steps.

For iOS devices:
For iOS devices, youโ€™ll need to check if your device is carrier-locked and if you can add an eSIM to determine whether your device is eSIM compatible.

  1. Go to โ€œSettingsโ€ and select โ€œGeneralโ€.
  2. Then, click โ€œAboutโ€ and scroll down to where it says โ€œService Provider Lockโ€. If it says โ€œNo SIM restrictionsโ€, it means your device is not carrier-locked and you can add an eSIM.
  3. To check if you can add an eSIM, go to your โ€œSettingsโ€ and select โ€œMobileโ€.
  4. If you can add an eSIM to your device, youโ€™ll see the โ€œAdd eSIMโ€ option under โ€œSIMsโ€.

If your iOS device doesnโ€™t have a carrier lock and has the โ€œAdd eSIMโ€ option, your device is eSIM compatible.

For Android devices:

  1. For Samsung devices, go to โ€œSettingsโ€ > โ€œConnectionsโ€ > โ€œSIM Card Manageโ€. If you see the โ€œAdd Mobile Planโ€ option, your device is eSIM compatible.
  2. For all other Android devices, dial and call *#06#. If you can view your EID number, your device is eSIM compatible.
If you need further assistance to check whether your device is eSIM compatible, please contact the manufacturer, seller or network provider directly.
